Well it’s that time of year again! The New Year is the best time to reflect back at what you have done well with, and where you can use improvement. We all want to be a better person and New Year is the best time to take resolutions to be an even BETTER you.

Here are few resolutions which that may help you to be a better person, which will in turn make you feel better, as well as the people around you.

It’s all about making habits, and good habits play an important role for anyone looking to improve on themselves and their life. To be a better person, you should always evaluate your habits and try to enhance the things are already making you feel the happiest and healthiest.

1. Take Care of Yourself Your body is the only one you get so keep it well-rested, active, and well-nourished. Focusing on eating healthy food and drinking lots of water can have a huge impact. You’ll notice that getting exercise each day will make you feel happy and energetic throughout the day. And you’ll get better sleep at night. It’s a win-win! So love yourself and your body and mind even more in the new year.

2. Volunteer When you give and help others without any expectations, you will feel happy from well within your heart. Find a weekly or monthly volunteer opportunity at a church or any nonprofit organization. You’ll meet new people, learn new things, and know that you’re making the world a better place. This is one of the best New Years resolutions to be a better person we could possibly think of!

3. Take Up a New Hobby There are so many amazing and unique hobbies out there. Sports, reading, crafting, traveling, yoga, art, cooking… there are thousands of things you can do! So pick one to start. This will make you a more interesting person, and can really improve the quality of your life.

4. Go Green Adopting habits like turning off the lights and electronic appliances when they’re not in use, and conserving water are great place to get started. Growing a garden, spending time outside instead of watching TV, walking or biking instead of driving, and recycling are a few other ideas.
